As far as publicity and merchandising go, Vermeer is the new Klimt.

A very interesting and well done documentary. However, the subtitles were often frustratingly impossible to read on a movie screen. White letters on a white background is a major flaw.

There was a movie directed a few years ago by Penn Gillette called Tim's Vermeer. Would make a great double feature with this if cinemas still did double features.

The most frustrating part was the diversity hire Jewish lesbians contradicting the world's unrivalled expert, truly representative of our times.

?? Without a doubt the most pretentious excuse for a film, featuring a select group of elitist people desperately trying to out 'expert' each other, (anyone that faints at the sight of a painting is BEYOND mentally challenged... passion for beauty is one thing, but the over the top emotional drama gets very tired, very fast.)
