I think it's wishful thinking, however, because we are over due for a new mobile game in my opinion I think we don't have to worry either way especially cause we may get a release date for an official new digimon game for console so we have no reason to worry either way

It sure is weird that we can't have a Digimon app for more than a few years. Especially when tamagotchi forever has been a thing. That the Digimon apps are usually on a limited run makes me less enthused

Course they didn't add the Japan-exclusive Atamadekachimon to the DCG or reference book until it appeared in the Adventure reboot and it was specifically in a set full of cards from all the anime from Tri to the Adventure Reboot (before the new 02 movie) (even though it's a Digimon X set (called X Record) with Alphamon as the poster mon for the set)

RIP Yo! Yo! mon (aka Yoxtu! Yoxtu! mon. Not sure where Bandai Namco USA got the x from and the ッ tsu is silent) though. (It did get a reference book entry around the same time at least)

When it comes to mobile games it depends on if the actual game is good, cause honestly i actually enjoyed digimon heroes it was entertaining, simple to follow and the design of the digimon art was dope. Makes me wish digimon heroes could make a return on mobile.
