1. Get a spa day pass. You often can purchase one without being a guest of the hotel or booking a service. Look at @gvrthespaandsalon or @jwmarriottlv (JW Marriott) for the best off strip value and mixture of co-ed/indoor/outdoor spa space.

2. The High Roller on the @linqpromenade boast some amazing views, each pod is air conditioned with seating and there are a couple of “all you can drink carts” and you can often deal shop tickets.

3. @silvertoncasino has a “Mermaid School” experience. You can book it under “entertainment” on the website. It often books weeks or months in advance. Email them if you have a party or need a private mermaid experience.

4. @lipsmackingfoodie tour’s “Afternoon Culinary Adventures” is during the hottest part of the day, and you get to spend it indoors in two of the most beautiful resorts in the world. For $149 you get to feast on the best dishes from four of the best restaurants inside Wynn & Venetian. Tax and gratuity included.

5. Outside each @minus5icebar is a frozen daiquiri bar. They have affordable fully customizable frozen drinks with or without alcohol. They add the booze in front of you so you always know what you’re drinking and how much!

6. Take a short drive up Mt Charleston to cooler temps, have a lunch at the local lodge, see wildlife like burros and mustangs, enjoy a picnic or a hike.

Heads up from a huge vegas fan. Did the couples massage at the aria and it includes an all day spa pass for $200 per person. Full private pool, jacuzzi, sauna and the massage experience was great!!

Any commentary on which hotels to avoid in the summer because their Air conditioning is sub par? We went years ago and couldn't sleep at night because our room was over 90 degrees at 2 am. Looking to avoid that happening again.
