For Advanced Neural Circuits you can farm it at White-night Gulch - Fortress Outskirts also. Right now there are tons of enemies spawns there, with 4-5 elites that will drop the 'blue brain' materials

I think the biggest tip for new players to progress would be to us the free advancement materials that game provides on a single weapon. That weapom can up your damage to help you progress into hard mode farming without needing to dump too much into any given descendant. Just build the tankier ones with HP modes to do bosses, bunny skill duration and sharon skill duration.

One thing I wish is that you should be able to craft more than one thing if you have enough materials to craft more than one. Also, glad to have seen this as I've been trying to farm these.

Thundercage, using your first 2 catalyst and energy on a Thundercage and farming additional Thundercage's to upgrade is a must for new players makes progression so much easier

I had more luck on grinding "the shelter" on hard mode just make sure its 200+% modifier to get 2 mats, I can finish each run for about 5-6 mins with my bunny and then switch to valby to bully devourer and open my mats. You do need a fully upgraded gun to kill devourer under 20secs though, and I get 1-3 catalyst for every 10 mats.

There’s no way you got 6 blueprints in 20 minutes. You’re lucky if you get 6 amorphous pattern that contain a blueprint in 20 minutes.
