ASTHO and CDC hosted an ASTHOConnects on evidence-based practices that prevent infectious diseases related to the opioid epidemic. CDC, Vermont state and local representatives shared
their perspectives on policy levers and partnerships for implementing syringe services programs (SSPs) and building linkages to treatment for substance misuse.
