Do not miss this if you are planning a Spiti valley road trip.

Real struggle for this road trip starts after Kaza (Kaza to Manali). The moment you cross lossar, road starts to disappear. You need to do complete off roading till Atul tunnel.

If you have Small cars (hatch back/sedan) or you are not a confident driver we will highly recommend not to do this road trip.

Here are few points your should know, if you are planning your trip in June or July:

1. Leave early in the morning 🌄, so you can cross most of the water crossings with less water level 🌊

2. By afternoon, snow starts to melt and water level increases in every water crossing

3. Keep your puncture kit with you. It’s hard to find help as you will be in complete no network zone for almost 5 to 6 hours. 🪛🔩

4. You are going to drive at the speed of 10-20 kms/hr, so it will take more time than what the google map shows. ⏰

5. Download offline map of the area before starting your trip 🗺

6. Keep a day extra in Manali, if you are booking your return ticket from here. There are chances that you may get delayed due to landslides or increased water crossings.✈️
