The exact timeline for the repatriation of SANDF's soldiers killed in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo remains unclear after the United Nations confirmed that the mortal remains on 18 soldiers from South Africa, Malawi and Tanzania remained at a U.N. Logistics Base Hospital in Entebbe, Uganda.

SABC News has learned that they are undergoing mortician procedures that could take up to five days after the bodies arrived via a U.N. road convey in Entebbe on Sunday.
