Joe Thomas, future first ballot HOF OT from the Cleveland Browns, said that he wanted Wills for the Browns. The Browns drafted Wills. Joe Thomas has reached out to Wills and offered to be a resource for him. WIlls is going to send left side pass sets to Joe so he can help his transition from RT to LT. Bill Callahan will be his offensive line coach. Callahan also believes that Wills can make the transition from RT to LT. By the way, The Browns said that WIlls was their first choice at OT.

Ever since this video was released I’ve been all in on Wills just hoping and 🙏 he would fall to 10 and for the first time ever the draft gods answered my prayers 😭

Only thing I really see on Wills is he has his weight a little too much on his outside leg. Susceptible to a club move when your weight is too far over that outside knee. He takes a very long time to redirect with his weight outside which could get him in trouble with penetrating DTs. But he is far and away better as a pass protector than Wirfs right now. Wills does a very good job snatching DE hands and replacing them quickly. He looks really good.

I don’t think I’ve ever learned so much about something on YouTube in my life. I know a lot more about OTs and even edge rushing Techniques in my life. Thank you 👍🏻

That Thomas dude from Georgia is still nice. Where'd his top 10 hype go?

And as an added bonus, I learned how to properly pronounce K'lavon Chaisson's name.

Andrew Thomas?

Between these two Jedrick Wills though imo. Expecting a great video as always Brett! Thanks for a timely video while I'm cooped up in my dorm room due to classes being cancelled.

Short chops of the feet is something often seen in rarely seen used on the field in play (where it's most helpful!).
And it's amazing how many linemen don't do short & quick chops with their like it never got taught to 'em. Wills really goes to show that you learn, use, and stick with your fundamentals they will serve you make a huge difference.
I learned a lot watching concise and informative.

It's crazy looking back at this now how accurate you were. Wirfs has talked about how they used to set more on 45s at Iowa and that it was way deeper sets they did in the NFL, that technique change helped him reach his potential as he could anchor well and handle speed as a 345lb extremely athletic lineman. Wills changing from the right to left side is what I'd guess was part of him having a normal rookie lineman year that wasn't bad but wasn't insane like Wirfs. I expect Wills to improve a ton this year and continue to improve, as the same with Thomas as he had to learn and change his pass protection from georgia. I expect this to be considered a great tackle class as it was in the draft in years to come with the top 4 guys.
