The only sadness I see is the sensationalist hook of this post.

I’ve only seen him in one movie I thought it was great. It was called the terror with Boris Karloff I just sought on the Internet. I’ve kind of avoided watching him because I think that he’s probably a really great actor but he’s always playing these tough guy rules I think all the foul language and the entertainment world kind of puts me off, and I’ve been avoiding watching movies for years… we have something in common. I’m from New Jersey. I was born in New Jersey but some from central Jersey yeah not south New Jersey. He just seems to be really rough around the edges but he’s not taking care of himself which is a tragedy. He was really funny so I have that in common with him. I am very much naturally a comedian, but other than that I don’t have anything in common with this guy I take care of my health. He just seems so rough around the edges. I’m not sure he’s a really nice guy, but I’m sure he’s very talented.

I ALWAYS ALWAYS enjoyed watching him in any of his movies and I loved watching him off screen when he would sit for an interview, etc. Jack is one of a kind!

I watched a play by Tyler Perry, Madea’s Big Happy Family, that had this same storyline. When I saw how the lead male character’s life was shaken up by finding this out, I made the decision to tell my kids why I wasn’t with their father, anymore. They were still pretty young at the time. I thought it was better for them to know the truth than to grow up, find it out later, and it turn their whole lives upside down. Either way it goes, it’s difficult to talk about, but kids are a lot more resilient than we think they are.

I also grew up not knowing who my father was. That was something I blamed my mother for until I took a DNA test and connected with people from that side of the family. I did end up learning it was better that I grew up without him. But, it would’ve been better had my mother had an honest conversation with me. That way I wouldn’t have been so tortured with all the questions I had growing up.

That’s something that I feel sucks about the older generations, they buried a lot of stuff. My mother took a lot of stuff to the grave with her, just like Jack Nicholson’s mother and grandmother. Even if he would’ve determined he was better off without his dad, let him make that choice on his own! That’s probably why Jack ended up being a womanizer, it stems from his childhood. I do hope he can find someone to be with in his twilight years! #KathyKiddEntertainment

The tragedy...? Everyone should know what he did to Angelica Huston. That's the real tragedy.

I am not successful and talented like Jack, but my mother had a baby in 1946 not married, that was horrible for her. I was happy to know of another brother in 1993. Illegitimate children don't exist, just the crap we have laid on them.

You didn’t make mention of two other great Nicholson films!
1. The Last Detail with actor Randy Quaid. And
2. Missouri Breaks with actor
Marlon Brando.
What Up with that? 🤷🏻‍♂️
