Renfield
Only in Theaters April 14

Evil doesn’t span eternity without a little help.

In this modern monster tale of Dracula’s loyal servant, Nicholas Hoult (Mad Max: Fury Road, X-Men franchise) stars as Renfield, the tortured aide to history’s most narcissistic boss, Dracula (Oscar® winner Nicolas Cage). Renfield is forced to procure his master’s prey and do his every bidding, no matter how debased. But now, after centuries of servitude, Renfield is ready to see if there’s a life outside the shadow of The Prince of Darkness. If only he can figure out how to end his codependency.

Renfield is directed by Chris McKay (The Tomorrow War, The LEGO Batman Movie) from a screenplay by Ryan Ridley (Ghosted series, Rick & Morty series), based on an original idea by The Walking Dead and Invincible creator Robert Kirkman.

The film co-stars Awkwafina (The Farewell, Marvel’s Shang-Chi and the Legend of Ten Rings), Ben Schwartz (Sonic, The Afterparty) and Adrian Martinez (The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, Focus) and Emmy winner and Oscar® nominee Shohreh Aghdashloo (House of Saddam, House of Sand and Fog).

Renfield is produced by Skybound Entertainment partners Robert Kirkman and David Alpert (The Walking Dead, Invincible), co-presidents Bryan Furst (Daybreakers) and Sean Furst (Daybreakers) and by Chris McKay. McKay’s producing partner Samantha Nisenboim (co-producer, The Tomorrow War) will executive produce.

Nicholas Cage as Dracula is one of the best casting choices they ever made.

Nicolas and Nicholas. The duo we never knew we needed.

What is crazy is he actually looks like he might unironically be a really good Dracula.

This is a trailer done right. It doesn’t give away the plot, doesn’t show you all the best parts and does what it’s suppose to do which is get you hyped for the film. I wish more trailers did this.

I love that Nicolas Cage always gives 100 percent. It doesn't matter if the script is gold or complete crap, he knows how to commit and give it his all.

Everyone talking about nick cage, but Nicholas Hoult is also a great talent. Loved him in warm bodies and young beast in X-men franchise.

This movie is going to be wild no matter how good or bad it is

I immediately liked how when he said
“come on in”
he freaked out because that counted as an invitation to come into the building.
Old school vampire lore.

Nicholas Cage is always Nicholas Cage, and he always deliver. The crazier he is the better everything gets. This is going to be a real treat, and he actually seems to be an awesome Count.

Nick Cage’s comeback has honestly been great, can’t wait to see where it goes

I don’t care if it’s low budget or high budget. Cage always does a good job acting. Can’t wait to see him on top again.

I admit I always had a soft spot for Mr. Cage but seeing his entrance as Dracula really made me laugh...in a good way. This could really be fun to watch.

I always thought Renfield was an underrated character in the book, because there was genuinely depth I felt. But this looks like a fun movie, for sure

I love how eating an insect gives him power. In the Bram Stoker book, draculas servant feeds insects to rats and rats to a cat and then eats the cat (or some combination of animals but it starts with insects) bc he says if you eat a creature, you gain it’s life force. Such a cool way to call back to the original Renfield.

This movie deserves a sequel. Nicholas Cage never disappoints. Good or bad he can cast. What you want him to be, he will be.

I love the part where the counselor invites Dracula in and Reinfeld freaks out. Vampires can supposedly only enter if you give them permission.

Considering the amount of detail original to the book (spider-eating, Vampires having to be invited, etc) this looks like a really smart movie having the time of its life being as dumb-fun as possible and I am here for it.

Finally, Nick Cage has a role that is perfect for him. There is no way he can over act this part.
