A neat feature is the light in the side of the trunk/boot. It pops out and you can use it as a torch.

Great videos I learnt a few things I’d missed. I’m not sure if there’s a solution to this challenge but it’s worth asking. I’ve got a 7 seater 2019 162 r-line Tiguan and while the storage is great there doesn’t appear to be a cargo mat the completely seals the floor. The cavities on each side of the spare tire cover have things fall down there and with a young family finding socks, shoes or anything small. Is there a rubber cargo mate or cups I can buy to put in the cavities?

How about the various modes in the reverse camera. The perpendicular park cam, the parallel park cam, the wide angle cam and the tow hitch cam. I don't tow and have no trouble with parallel park but it seems pretty useful for those who tow or have trouble with parallel park or driving out of a driveway.

I recently went to VW dealership in Atlanta and they did a free software update. I didn't have Think Blue initially but it was added with the software update. I don't know if anyone does or don't have Think Blue, but you can get the update if you don't have it. It's pretty nice teaches you to save gas and take a easy on the environment. It gives you a score and make suggestion to drive better, save gas and get a higher score.

Are these hidden features in part 1 and 2 specific to the SEL? I know a few are like the power lift gate.

Another cool feature, If you're not at home the engine will remain running or stay in stop/start mode while you're Tiguan is in park, however; if you set up your profile with your address your vehicle will know when it's at home and will shut down in about 2 minutes when you remove your foot from the brake automatically. Cool neat little feature.

The card slot is a place to keep the card for car parks which need a proximity card - often am issue for company car parks.

Good information but on the navigation it wasnt clear what you was pressing also wasnt clear were those coin compartments were I'm supposed to have the latest tiguan but I only have 1 button in the boot . I do have the new navigation screen also like a step bar on mine
