Correct use of Spacer with MDI ( without mask ) in children

Use of Spacer in children should be in proper technique .Those children who can inhale keeping the mouth tight lip on spacer should use spacer without Mask.They are generally above 4 to 5 years of age. It can vary with age and child's effort.Do not use Puff without Spacer.These are based on universally approved guidelines. Should the child exhale via the mouth in to the spacer, or via nose? Because if we exhale via mouth, then the medicine in the spacer might be pushed out.

Hi Miss Mehak.if your child can inhale or breathe normally without mask but with spacer.then it is fine.but kids open their mouth nd there may be air leak.so not effective.pl contact my reception or visit centre for live demo.we will teach and help you
