FOV is Field Of View. I'd imagine this may have something to do with the 170 Deg to 70 Deg? Nice vid btw!

You ask about FOV - which means Field Of View - something is wrong with your camera because it should be possible to choose wide (170 degrees) to narrow (90). WDR means Wide Dynamic Range - used when you are filming high contrasts.

the spare back cover is for non waterproof use and has openings for better sound recording, a basic splash proof but not for submerging in water, I may put a semi dense foam in gap, to stop a few drops if caught in rain but sound is still let in..FOV is field of view - angle of wide view less or more distortion

guys actually im pretty sure that '' the extra backplate'' is actually a backplate with holes so sound goes through clearly while still have the case on. Because I think you can unclip the backplate and change it for the one with the holes. correct me if im wrong.

Sjcam has fixed a lot in latest software, important fixes are: Adjustable bitrate, fixed gyro stabilization, fixed audio recording and many small fixes.
With the fixes it's on a whole new level of performance. :)
