DIY - How to change SmartKey Key fob Battery on Range Rover

5 years later and this video just saved me a small fortune. Went to the land rover dealership and the quote they gave me for 2 new fobs (yes my spare is also dead 🙄) would require me to sell a piece of my liver.

Can I just ask one think which was true for my bmw and I don’t want anyone to have any issues.

When I replaced my bmw key fob battery it had to be replaced within 90 seconds otherwise the key reset.

Not sure if this is true with LR as this my first one but worth just getting everything ready before taking old battery out.

Also if anyone corrects me then happy to take on the information! :)
