Enjoyed this vid a few weeks ago and it was very influential in my decision to go with the Typhoon for my first quad. image quality, customer support, and ease of use were major points, long range was not since we are doing everything legally and "out of visual range" was not a useable sales point for me. I've worked on rotorcraft my entire working life, and now i'm working on finally getting my pilot's license and FAA commercial UAS Exemption. Who knew getting a drone would finally push me back to flight lessons again? Anyway, Photography and video will eventually be my niche in my wife's "G'Mariecee Portrait Studio" services, - my wife is a professional photographer and is exited about the possibilities of adding aerial video for her wedding and real estate shoots. (i'm not sure she's enjoying all of the sloppy wet kisses of late though!)

Hi of all, I want to say that I enjoy your videos, in fact, it was your video that led me to buy the Yuneec Q500+ 4K.  I was wondering why you went through the left stick and switch routine to get into compass calibrate when there is a menu item for that under the tools section (gear in the bottom right corner)??  Please

I bought the Yuneec Q-500+ (White body) 1080P two months ago because I can't wait for the 4K.  My questions:

What is real difference between the Q500+ 1080P vs. 4K beside the camera and body color?  In addition, one of your older video mentioned we can turn in the CGO2 1080P camera for a credit to purchase the CG03 4K camera. How does one go about doing that?

Are there a alternative LiPo for the Yuneec Q500 ??? (i mean more than 5400mAh, because i saw a lot of other LiPo PowerPacks which are not larger but with about 20.000mAh, that would be a great flying time)

Hi Jim, thanks for all the great videos.
The DJI P3 Pro camera has full control and a RAW setting. Is the Q500+ 4k camera the same, full remote control of shutter, fps and RAW etc.

Again thanks for the fine video. One thing I noticed was the Typhoon has stronger greens and blues, where as the Phantom 3 was not as coloerful in those color. But in the old days you could buy different film for different looks.the, with video you can work in post to correct color. If you wish. Thanks again Jim for informing all of us on the differ quads out there. Shout out to Peter at Acesdeals for providing the quads to test by you. This gives us a true look at the new products.

Wow! Is it me or the footages from the Typhoon 4K were more "vivid" than the Phantom 3 in many conditions!
The compass calibration dance is not sexy at all, my brain would have burned out with all these crazy steps but it flies pretty good!
