What even is a Tentagraph? Is it some space age watch movement?

Don’t be put off by the futuristic name, because we all know that Grand Seiko love extravagant titles, but the Tentagraph by Grand Seiko is the brands own take on the hi beat automatic chronograph.

It’s named for its TEN beats per second, Three days power reserve, Automatic ChronoGRAPH.

Looks like a Zenith, but double the price, blown up in height and with a tachymeter nobody will ever use.

So functionally, it’s the same as a zenith chronograph movement. And the tolerances are not as good… So tell me why I shouldn’t buy the zenith…?

Sorry but that piece just looks way too much like a Seiko and still no micro adjustment I’m guessing.

3 day power reserve. Lol Oris is 5 day at half the price and better warranty

Love GS but their chronos are awful value for money. They dont even look nice.
