The NHS Nightingale Hospital in London discharged its first patient after he recovered from COVID-19 on April 19. The emergency facility was built in nine days to boost treatment capacity in London, one of the UK's hotspots for COVID-19.

58-year-old Simon Chung became its first coronavirus patient to be discharged. Workers of the hospital gathered outside to see off the patient on April 19, cheering and whooping as the ambulance carrying him drove off.

Britain reported 596 more coronavirus-related hospital deaths on Sunday, raising the total to 16,060.

As much as I’ve respect for all the frontline staff, but the patient to my perspective needs more tensions🙏
