It was leaked that they are working on a game for Atreus’ journey after Ragnarök, it was originally supposed to be DLC but it got changed into a full game. I’m excited and completely trust the developers to continue making this masterpiece of a franchise.

Also… Me and my friends had a theory that they might start the journey of a different god, maybe the God of War in another pantheon and/or a new tale of a mortal that becomes a god? Since Kratos’ journey seems to have ended (and I hope it is cuz it was amazing) and Atreus will most likely finish most of his arc in the spin-off game.

I think the future games will be about Atreus and at the same time Santa Monica will make remakes of the og games so we learn more about Atreus and can enjoy the originals again.

Gow 6 can end with kratos's journey and another game can start with Atreus's journey, after all kratos went i think it's enough for him to struggle more, he must rest in piece now for once and for all

I think that it makes no sense kratos go to egipt after valhala. I think atreus could be the one going there looking for the giants. So, we would experience a more grown and powerfull atreus in a difrent mythology. As you say, the egipt gods are incredible powerfulls, so I think that the next games won t be there. That or they are gonna nerf the sh#t out of them.😅

I’m gonna leave this up for everyone. Kratos already went to Egypt because that’s how he got you know to Norris mythology he had to travel through Egypt. It was a tie in comic for the game which showed him getting rid of the blades of chaos and then traveling through Egypt so it wouldn’t make much sense for him to go back to Egypt would it
