Excellent comparison! It’s great to see how fast they rooted. I’m excited about I see how they thrive in your climate. Thanks for the shout out! 🐉

If you don't have a heating mat, you could just put it on your fridge, it generates enough heat to do the job, I did it an those roots came out with in 2weeks

In my experience, if you trim the cuttings that don't readily root, exposing the wooden stem, they will root within 2 weeks. It also helps to cover the container to trap more of the heat, especially if you are trying to root cuttings during the winter.

Eric, do you prefer to start rooting in water or would you rather go ahead and root in your put with dirt? From growing fig cuttings, I have a heat mat, rooting hormone, micoryzil fungus and worn castings. How would you suggest proceeding? I've watched all of you dragon videos. Thank you Eric. 👍

SO… question: Can I propagate them at the root? I have two arms that are totally separate but connected at the base/root. Should i cut them apart?

Looks like a little humidity is all that's required judging by the top roots around the new growth leaves.

Is it possible to root a large stem which has been cut into 3 parts? All the parts (top and bottom) have callused over. I've had them in the soil for 5 months now and there's no sign of roots. The temperature here has been around 15 to 25 degrees C.

Live in virgin island, seldom goes below 80. Cuttings took several weeks to get here. Thought callused over. Been 2 weeks followed ur directions, no root whatso ever. Should i throw out or cut off bottom and start over?
