I heard stories from people from papua new guinea that the thylacoleo is still around the center of the island.

This is genuinely this the way forward we have to be able to prepare for everything and this is the way to do it. .In order to succeed, we have to be able to find ways to reproduce in order to prevent situations like this in the future. .Possibly for a human life as

I'd love to be part of this and help you guys in the future what a great mission your undertaking! Well done team 🎉

Omg!! Awesome! I'm so glad Forrest got the chance to visit. I've been watching Colossal for a while now and I really am so excited about the different projects. Real life Jurassic Park style resurrection :D

How will the revived thylacines be taught how to behave like thylacines? Will their caretakers teach them similar to how Keiko the orca was taught how to survive in the wild by his caretakers?

I love these behind the scenes videos. Is there any chance that you could post a video that shows the process that has already been made?

It's common in Australia to store animals in alcohol. I've stored stick insects in methylated spirits for over 10 years and they still look perfect

How long would it take (estimated) for the first thylancene to be brought back?

There is only 95% DNA similarity between the dunnart and the thylacine. So that takes a lot of trial and error to play with the remaining 5% genes until you get something looking like a thylacine, right?

I support the de-extinction project, we need a 'Tissue Bank' to collect DNA from all endangered species, including insects, birds, amphibians etc. We will surely be able to de-extinct animals and preserve ones with low genetic diversity.
