Czech VZ 95 Camouflage Effectiveness

preview_player
Показать описание
In this video we look at the effectiveness of Czech VZ 95 camouflage pattern in a Woodland Environment during the Spring / Summer time (North Texas woods). This video will consist of numerous scenes where each will begin with a concealed stationary position (both with & without the use of vegetation), followed by a movement phase out of the initial position. The purpose of the video is to give the viewer a chance to see the individual camouflage pattern and how it looks and blends into this environment. There will be varying degrees of how much of the uniform will be exposed to the viewer. Some scenes will only expose little more than perhaps a hat, while other scenes will have virtually no vegetation covering. This video is a little different then my normal effectiveness videos in that the camera is moving opposed to a still shot.

I have to admit that you chose realistic representation of czech nature!

These North Texas woods are strikingly similar to Czech woodland environment for which the vz.95 was developed. And this video confirms the main complaint most users have – it is way too dark for this environment, containing too much dark green and even "unnatural" black. Instead, we should have adopted PenCott GreenZone, which works the best (or maybe A-TACS FG or the new green Multicam).

NICE!!! I have used this camo before and it doesen´t seem to work so well in south europe (forests are much lighter here than in the east).... When i went to the Czech republic it amazed me how much darker the soils was as well as the vegetation, hence the color palette

Weirdly enough it actually seems to blend in fairly well when you're hidden in mud and tree branches, even more so that when you're in trees; it's be interesting to see this pattern in the fall/winter when most the vegetation is dead to see if it actually holds up there.

Perfect blend for that backdrop.
Thanks for taking the time to make the video.

This and the Danish M84 are both perfect for dense vegetation imo

This pattern works pretty well in California during the spring. Everything is turning green but still has a lot of browns. Posted up against an oak tree it really blends in

I just returned from the Czech Republic. I bought a couple of pieces of head gear over there. I’ll see about getting myself some after market items with their camo pattern on it. Very effective camo I’ve found. Looks like an ERDL pattern, but using similar colors that Crye is using in its Tropical Multicam pattern. With the exception of the black. I really like this camo and it works very well in the spruce forests found here in central and Eastern Europe. If you are looking for more Czech Army Gear let me know.

You have the same florescent green foliage I have in my area. This pattern is nice with the bright green in it but still to dark, I'm talking neon green everything around where I am. Greenzone was the best I could find but it seems impossible to find anymore. Great video, definitely one of my preferred patterns.

Good stuff as always! That pattern seems to work pretty darn well. Observational point - more and more with my own testing, I find that most dedicated "woodland" patterns, seem to rely pretty heavily on shadows. That seems to be true of this one as well.

That was a very good video, and yes you got me when you fired that round, I jumped out of my boots, but after I put them back on, I finish watching the rest of the video,   lol   Great job  Brent.

To tame the muzzle slap of that metal folding stock on the VZ 58, reindex the AK style slant brake to 12:00 straight up and down. There is not a lot of room to cut(dremel) a new notch for the indexing pin, it will look like a gear tooth, but will work. OR just buy the Czech sty, e muzzle brake from CNC Warrior, it works too.
