He came over sat down with me and my uncle at our table and talked to us for about 10 minutes and he even took a photo with us

This makes sense. Cus made him watch and learn about all the fighters of the past and if you watch Dempsey enter the ring you’ll see that Mike emulated his entrance perfectly. No robe. No socks. No pageantry or pomp and circumstance. He went straight in like a gladiator, got the job done, and left.
