I male over 60, 000 a year and now have to go to my local food drive after barely filling a grocery cart for my family for 400.00!! And that's getting great value and the lower prices items!! This is ridiculous.

I used to work at a big time grocery store. And ever since the pandemic they have had ""Record Profits", and none of that "trickles down" to the employees stocking the shelves on food stamps. They are price gouging the hell out of us.

you can get rump roast 3.99 a pound and we really only have one grocery store, a small store of discontinueds and Walmart. Dr. Pepper 2 liter is 3 for 5.00 or 1.69, Black berries 6 oz 2/3.00 that's not 2.99 or 3.99 a piece but 1.50 and this store is overall not cheap. it's all on sale... last week NY Strip was 8.99 a lb and now T-bone is 9.99 a pound.... our gas is less than 4.00 a gallon and we are higher than anywhere else nearby. 5 lb of flour 2.12 People are stupid and don't know how to shop. Get a mirror, you've got no one to blame but yourselves.

Eggs butter and bread costs – gonna have to depend on the food shelf monthly… Not sure how much longer I can afford my one bedroom apartment… If they increase the rent again I’ll be on the streets… But y’all enjoy your luxe lives

We can do without eggs in baking by using mayo (that needs used up) or applesauce. Rice is good with cinnamon and nutmeg for breakfast.

Sooo...inflation is not as bad...but it's still happening. If you are driving 100 miles and hour and you slow to 95 miles an hour...you're still speeding.
