When I first saw RB release their car design this year, I knew they had problems with Adrian Newey. No way in hell Newey would of copied the failed concept of a Merc car.

I think that Red Bull team morale is significantly declining after the series of internal shenanigans including the resignations of some key figures. This has to have some effect on the entire “team” performance from cleaners through to drivers.

If red bull really did ignore newey then that is arrogance beyond comprehension. The most successful f1 designer possibly ever, he may not be infallible, it he’s as close as anyone in the modern era

Some of the elements on the RB20 were ideas introduced then Scrapped by Mercedes including specific elements of the cooling that Newey even advised against

The drop off in performance is very surprising from Red Bull, they had a car that dominated a season like no other. They started this year on the domination route and are now close to losing the constructers lead, and Norris looks like he is a threat for the drivers chapionship. Verstappen looks like he's going go have to maximise the points as best he can, limping over the line to get his 4th championship.
