In today’s video, I'm reacting to the tone-deaf farewell message from Thirty One Gifts’ CEO, who is announcing the MLM closure of the company to her dedicated Distributors.

This isn’t your typical emotional goodbye—instead, it’s filled with virtue signaling, a lack of empathy, and absolutely no accountability, in my opinion.

As I break down her message, it becomes clear that this is yet another example of how multi-level marketing companies operate in a predatory way, leaving their loyal salesforce with nothing but empty smiles and excuses. I beg to differ on her claim that so many people made money with Thirty One Gifts. We ALL know the statistics with MLM and I'm sure the Distributors with thousands in inventory would like to have a word with her.

Throughout this reaction, we’ll discuss how MLM leaders often fail to take responsibility for the impact of their decisions, abandoning the people who invested time, energy, and loyalty into the company to finance their upline's lifestyle.

I highly doubt she chose to forgo her salary. Clearly, her mismanagement of an unethical business model led to so little profit that she was forced to forgo her salary. Her singsong cadence, condescending tone, incongruous presentation, faith manipulation, toxic positivity, failure to take accountability and lack of empathy are hallmarks of a con artist.

Thirty-One gifts is a Christian based company (surprise, surprise) so her voice reminds me of the baby talk, "keep sweet" voice a lot of women in that community use. It's a wild voice to use while you layoff your entire company.
