Marion 204M Super Front electric face shovel. 35 yd. bucket

Might have been pretty strange looking but it had some great qualities. Check out the crowding mechanism. Then look at the cam system for the bucket. This is the only shovel I know of that can run the bucket out flat along the floor and do its own cleanups. Was a nice shovel to run but I don't think the mechanics cared for it too much. I believe there were only 5 or six of these made and 3 and part of a fourth were at OTML.

Prima mining had protype in the 70s It had problems with acumalater problems it launch one like a rocket. One 204 was in a coal mine in Colorado. P H tried something similar at Cyprus Sierrita with a 2300 bucket unloaded like a loader.It was scraped
