Race to Duna

The Amerikerbals have built an amped up version of the historic Saturn-V rocket and have set their sights on Duna. Not to be out done the Ruskies have re-purposed their Mun rocket to RACE them to Duna and return their Kerbals safely back home.

Do you even need 5 meter rocket parts to go to the moon? I can build a simplified R7 replica with fused 1x2.5 m and 4x1.25 m engines and it would probably be cheaper too
