This was such a charming movie. So glad to see a guy really treat a lady with respect ( both ways). You don't see that in our society anymore. This generation is out for what physical satisfaction they can get and no commitment or real love. It is selfishness and greed today which leads mostly to unfilled love and no lasting commitment. I'm glad the lead character saw the light and broke things off with the selfish uncommitted guy.Awe true love won the day ! People think that is cheesy but deep inside that is what they are searching for.True, the reason for Christmas is Jesus. Jesus who gives true love and fulfillment. He gave us the desire to seek that kind of love and fulfillment in a life partner while here on earth. We can have both.

I really liked this "One Starry Christmas" movie. I really liked how respectful, nice,  & complimentary the male lead actor was to the female lead character in this movie. I've been watching a lot of Hallmark Christmas & holiday movies every weekend. And I like how this female lead character got a doctorate & is a professor, etc. And how in another movie I just watched tonight, "Christmas Under Wraps", Candace Cameron Bure's character is a medical doctor that a whole small Alaskan town depends on & appreciates. I also watched "A Christmas Shepherd" & I liked how Teri Polo's character is a children's book author. The most consistent theme I find with many Hallmark holiday movies is that many of the women have good jobs & professions, are strong, passionate, intelligent, etc. And that the male romantic leads all show decency, respect, admiration for all of the female lead characters. I honestly wish more men were like this in real life. This world would be a better place if more men were compassionate, respectful, nice, decent, kind, warm, loving, friendly, romantic, attentive, empathetic, rarely giving up on their female love interests like most of these male lead actor characters in all these Hallmark movies. Anyways, I liked how the cowboy male lead was very romantic, rarely gave up on the female lead, & always encouraged, empowered, praised, complimented, & respected her & even read what she wrote for Graduate School to win her astronomy Grant prize. More men should be attentive & proud of women just as what we see in many of these Hallmark holiday movies. That's what many women want in relationships.

Anyways, I mostly have had my channel set on Hallmark Channel. I find watching many Hallmark holiday movies lifts my spirit & mood. I like the positive energy & vibes from all the movies. And I like how hopeful all the movies are. And I like the combination of holiday & romance. I love holidays & romance. And I'm kind of like the female character in 'One Starry Christmas". I live in the Midwest like her & I like studying things & the way she feels that holidays such as Christmas are meant to be shared & celebrated is the way I feel, too. If some men complain about why some women are so into holidays & into sharing, giving, & receiving gifts & spending time with loved ones & decorating & doing many festive activities, then they should watch this movie & many other holiday movies on Hallmark Channel & then they would understand more & "get it". I also wanted to say that the "Twas the Night" song that the female lead in "Angels & Ornaments" sang has been stuck in my head for the past few days. You should release a video or song with her singing that song. That song really is good, heartfelt, & memorable & is the type of song that plays over & over in one's head.

I have to say, right on with the southern accent. It’s warm and not offensive (exaggerated like most do). 😉👍🏻👍🏻 I’m watching it now and liking it so far!

This is Christmas tradition for my mom and me. It isn't the holiday season until we watch this movie in the days leading up to Christmas.

How can I watch this original hallmark movie? I have been searching for this movie for the longest time, but all am seeing is the movie being post with this ridiculous background while the movie is showing, which is very distracting. I thought this was the original hallmark movie channel where I could come and watch all the hallmark moives I want. But apparently this channel just advertise hallmark movies and not show them. I really fed up :-(

Halmark movies are all cheesey but they can be enjoyable and addictive. This one is terrible. The characters, and dialogue are laughably amateurish. The plot follows one of the usual themes. There is some value in halmark christmas movies but not this one.

As typical of Hallmark TV programs, this one too is a so-called Christ-less Christmas story. Leading the modern apostasy that is sweeping America,  the Hallmark Channel has virtually excluded the Lord Jesus Christ from every single film they have produced, totally ignoring the main reason Christmas is observed each year. Hallmark has replaced the Cross with X-mas trees, warm, cozy fireplaces, tinsel, Santa, elves and confused couples whose storyline is simply the formula of boy meets girl, boy loses girl, boy gets girl back again, The Hallmark Channel's Christmas films are, at their core, Anti-Christ productions, blindsiding the TV viewing public to the fact that this cable TV channel is being greatly influenced by Satan in each and every alleged Christmas movie they produce. Each one of their Christmas films denies that Jesus is the Messiah by virtue of the fact that omit Jesus from all of their holiday season shows. Nowhere in any of the Hallmark's programs is the virgin birth of Jesus the Savior ever mentioned. Nowhere do they ever mention the presence of angels in the sight of shepherds that herald the birth of the Redeemer. Hallmark doesn't even ever bother to mention the Star of Bethlehem, the omen in the night sky that guided the three wise men to the manger where Christ was born.  I encourage viewers to stop watching Hallmark. They deny Jesus is the Christ.
