you can. i eat 500 cal a day but the thing is you dont eat one thing that has 500 calories you eat different things and it all adds up to 500. i eat about 4 sometimes 5 meals a day. its great, he is exagerating a lot

You can have a feast with veggies and fruits, he just showed calories dense food for emphasis. 125 strawberries would be 500 calories

Been doing it for the past month. Down 30 lbs. I eat 500-800 calories in a day, then I fast the next day, then I eat 500-800 calories, then I fast... So I'm actually averaging about 250-400 calories per day. Blood pressure is down, cardio has improved, and still waiting to see the results on my bloodwork. So far, its actually promoting good weightloss AND has been healthy.

Rules to follow for a 500 calorie diet
1. Be disciplined and strong minded
2. Eat lots of nutritious veggies
3. Eat meat. Don’t forgot red meat occasionally for zinc and iron.
4. Eat several small meals throughout the day
5. Actually work out (increases metabolism)
6. Don’t do a 500 calorie diet if you don’t need to (under 12 percent body fat)
7. Once you’re finished with the diet. Slowly increase your calories and slowly integrate complex carbs back into your diet. Maintain your fitness. This will help you avoid gaining the weight back.

I've been on a diet for two months now and on average do about 500 to 600. I'm not hungry at all and feel like I eat quite a bit. I mean he only shows calorie dense foods. a cup of green beans is only 35 calories. 10 strawberries 40 calories. veggie burger 90 to 110. I mean it's easy to eat a balanced 500 calorie day. take a vitamin to fill in holes you missed

Ive been doing this for a month. Also walking 10 miles every day. I feel perfectly fine and healthy and have also lost 30lbs. Don’t understand what it is wrong with this.

I survived on 500 to 600 calories per day for 7 months! I have a rare disease that took the doctors that long to diagnose me and have the surgery. I weighed 246 pounds at 5 foot 6 inches, Today 8 months later I weigh 144 pounds. By the end I was vomiting 5 times per day, and barely keeping anything down. What I have is called Achalasia, it causes the muscles on the stomach valve to Not open and your esophagus fills up with food and drink until your forced to vomit. Sometimes proteins will collect at the bottom of my throat and begin to rot until the gases smell and taste like rotten meat. Not Fun. By the end, my labs were horrible, I was in Kidney failure and about 5 weeks from death. Thankfully I was able to have the surgery and not die. The recovery has been a long process but I am up to 1500 calories per day. I have changed the way I eat because now there are certain foods that I cant eat anymore. To eat now It takes about 5 to 8 swallows instead of just one and that's due to the muscles not working in my esophagus. So, back to the 500 calorie thing, at first it came on slowly, losing 3 pounds in one week, then it jumped to losing a pound a day. I went to the doctor because I was vomiting and didn't know why. He did a bunch of tests and after about another month my doctor decided to diagnose me with G.E.R.D. which is an acid reflux disease. I told him I didn't suffer from heartburn but he insisted so I started taking this acid reducer which did nothing at all. I kept in constant email communication with my doctor telling him I am still puking and nauseated every day and by this time I had lost about 60 pounds and still my doctor insisted I had gerd. Well fast forward about 5 months or so, I began feeling extremely fatigued and the puking is up to 5 times per day. I got a horrible lung infection which landed me in Urgent care. They did some labs and gave me an inhaler. Just as I was about to leave the Urgent care Doctor rushed in and said my labs came back and they were absolutely terrible, my b vitamins, sodium, white blood cell count and many others were extremely low. He told me that he is very surprised Im not in the ICU with my labs being what they are. I explained to him everything that's happened. He ordered a special test, this long string (6 feet) of wires was shoved down my nose, down my throat and into my stomach. After the test I was obvious that I have Achalasia and they scheduled me for emergency surgery. I woke up with six stab wounds in my abdomen and a collapsed lung. It has been about 2 months since the surgery and I am still recovering, but doing great. If anyone who reads this, be mindful of your symptoms, Achalasia comes on slowly, I have had it for about 3 years and didn't know it. There is no cure, and they don't know what causes it either. It can effect any race, gender or age. As of today I am 144 pounds and holding. My energy levels are back to normal and my labs look great. The surgery only opened the closed valve, unfortunately there is nothing else they can do to alleviate the symptoms other than nausea medication. Everyday I get pain in my esophagus, I get nauseous all the time and swallowing food is a pain in the butt. But, I'm Alive!!!!

I ate 450 calories yesterday, here's what I had:

Tea (0 calories)
Coffee w/ creamer (20 calories)
Cereal (135 calories)
Carrots & Ranch (60 calories)
Ramen (190 calories)
Popsicle (20 calories)
Cucumbers (20 calories)
Gum (5 calories)

This guy is over exaggerating so much. I know 500 calories isn't enough but you can eat a lot of foods that are low in calories and still get a lot to eat.

Currently living off 500 cals while doing omad, it really isn't that bad. The trick is too get the foods with low kcals but high in protein

My diet:
Breakfast: oatmeal with almond milk, half of a banana, and cinnamon. Served with green tea.

Lunch: Avacado toast

Dinner: black beans, avacado, and corn in a wheat tortilla.

Snacks: popcorn and strawberries

Total: 498cal

ive eaten 700 or less for 3 years and lost 40 stone. It works but i imagine at a certain point when i stop losing weight ill need more.

I eat about 400-800 calories a day for a month now with a few cheat meals but I lost 11 pounds. I only have 2 or sometimes 3 meals a day.

I did that for one month! All veggies 15% meat and 5% carbs from fruit lost 20lbs. I increased my calories but worked out 6 days a week didn’t gain anything back but lost 1 lb a week eating 80/20 diet and working out 50% strength training a cardio

Hey, if your body isn't giving you any warning signs then stick with it. Be careful though, and pay attention to the small things happening within and without your body.
