When my dad died.... "Cowgirls don't cry" by Brooks and Dunn... Ripped my heart right back open, took out the broken buts, sewed it up and sent me on my way. He died September 16 2024... It still hurts... But between Cowgirls Don't Cry, More Than Anything (from hazbin hotel) and a small playlist dad made for me in anticipation of his death because of his failing health... It's not the life altering, life ending pain I once thought it would be. Music truly does help heal most wounds.
