I love this band so much and I probably never would've heard of them here in the US if it wasn't for Ari Shaffir's Skeptic Tank podcast. He had interviewed a street artist named Callum Preston and I started following him on Instagram. He directed the video for Get High, See No One and was promoting it. I gave it a watch and history was made. Over the last couple years I will listen to other bands on occasion but when nothing else sounds good, I always go back to the Smith Street Band. I'm 36 years old and didn't expect to find a band so important to me at this point in my life. Here's to many more years and many more albums. You guys get me through every work day with a smile and a little excitement.

I love this song.. each time I hear it thought I am moved to recall The Counting Crows and there song "Round Here". there is something about Shine that reminds me of it. Do others hear this?

Looked into these guys after seeing how The Bennies represent them with wearing merch and Anty having a Smith Street Band sticker on his synth, not very long after started hearing them a over the j's. I am almost positive that Wil has not written a bad song in his life, truly from the heart, I think I almost like the solo stuff better, bloody legends! Good old Collingwood forever!!

It is this song that continues to rattle around my head at random times and scenarios whilst I'm going about the life routine lately. To say this is the best song on the new album might suggest the rest is sub-standard, and fark that is far from the truth. I got lost again like no-one is meant to be anymore. But yep, this song is the one that I find myself singing as I do my do.
