I live in California. Is there an extra cost and annual fee to add a online DBA underneath my LLC? Do you know or does anybody know? Also can my client make a check out to my DBA name?

Hi, thanks for the video. I'd like to know more about regarding, "consider a DBA if I'd like to operate my business under a different name". Let's say for an example that I have an LLC under the name of "JOESMOE LLC" including an EIN and a bank account under this LLC name, but I would like to operate under the name "REALTY BIZ Co." Do I need to connect or file with the state this name "REALTY BIZ Co." into my "JOESMOE LLC" business name? How does a DBA become legal? Also, at the same time, I do not want my personal assets be liable under this "REALTY BIZ Co." name. I'd appreciate the advice.
