i had more fun at this game than any other sporting event that i ever attended. End zone seats, 19 yrs. old with at least 8 of my buddies. We ran out onto the field after we won and watched the goal posts get pulled down and i almost got trampled in the mob. Some stranger pulled me out, i got up, we hugged, screaming from pure happiness the whole time. What a fond memory.

I will NEVER forget this day. Ever. It was our Super Bowl victory, so to speak. For the entire week, it was like Christmas in Buffalo. Still makes me smile.

Keep in mind this was a very good 12-4 Raider team with the #4 total defense and #7 scoring defense

Talley, Bennett, Smith, Conlan, Odomes, Kelso.
Kelly, Thomas, Reed, Hull, Ballard, Lofton, Tasker.

Those names are written in gold in every bills fan around the world.

Thurman was such an awesome back. Like having an additional receiver who was patient with blockers and could explode immediately after catch if needed.

Tecmo Super Bowl era! I love all of this and I forgot how dangerous the Bills' No Huddle/K-Gun offense was.

If the Bills make it to the Superbowl again I'll root for them even if they beat my team (Broncos) to get there.

It's amazing the field conditions football players used to have to play on -- that was pretty much cement covered with paint. I know not every stadium used "artificial turf", but I would guess about half did. Surprising more career ending injuries did not occur as a result of that. Go Bills!

My dad shared me this video and my goodness Thurman Thomas is a god. Bruce Smith is a god. Cornelius Bennett, Andre Reed, and Jim Kelly. Go Bills!!!

Greatest moment in Buffalo sports history. Unfortunately, it's only a conference championship, not SB. I was there and will never forget that feeling of making our 1st Superbowl. From a standpoint of sports, the most incredible feeling I've ever had in my life. Then the worst feeling ever 1 week later after Norwood misses vs Giants from 47 yds

Sooo many Hall of Famers in this game! As a Bills fan it's great to even see Howie and Marcus and Tim playing on the other side.

Bill Walsh passed away in 2007 from leukemia--sadly his son Steve also died from the same illness in 2002

Love watching the Hall of Famer Jim Kelly sling the rock in his prime. The way he delivers those low spirals straight to his receivers gut, making it nearly impossible for the pass to be broken up/contested. He evades tacklers and is pretty light on his feet as well, he won’t beat many defenders with his quickness after leaving the pocket but Jim was one of (and still is) a superb thrower while on the run. Whether it’s his low, super accurate 5-10 yard bread & butter throws that move the chains or his long bombs that show off his great arm strength it’s a sight to see. He played all of his 11 NFL seasons in Buffalo. During those years he went to 5 Pro Bowls, was named an All-Pro 3 times, NFL leader in Passer Rating in 1990, NFL leader in TD passes in 1991...plus holding every single franchise QB record when he retired. Oh, and he led his team to 4 Straight AFC Championship Victories & 4 Straight Super Bowl Appearances (I know they didn’t win any of those SBs but it’s still an incredible feat). He’s a Hall of Famer and then some. Cool to see
