Amy grant as a person in my early 20”s I had her LP’s .She sang me back to life in many occasions. She truly has the breath of heaven as she sings.

I was 11 when this song came out. I remember my mom playing this CD over and over along with the Nat King Cole Christmas album I'm sure everyone else remembers. I remember my parents in the kitchen dancing and just being in love and strong in the lord. I'm now a husband and father and dance with my wife in the kitchen and hope my son will too one day. Thank you Amy for writing a song that touches and reminds people of happy times. Beautiful song by an amazingly beautiful person. Thank you!

How sad.... her eyes convey it all. The spark has gone, the Amy I once knew and loved is no longer there. The eyes are the windows to the soul and Amy has lost the spark and love of God she once had. I grieves me to see what has become of her... the divorce was the beginning of the end of her special place in God's blessing of worship and witness of HIS glory. She was a role model and inspiration to so many the then lost it all in the betrayal she did to Gary her husband, who's life was shattered and never did recover from that heartbreak of the divorce.

She traded something priceless for fame and riches... left her earthly and heavenly husbands to seek the comforts of wealth and status. Just another hypergamous women looking for the bigger better lifestyle.

I pray Amy, you will have a divine encounter with the Angel of the LORD and you will return to your first love
