Seeing the letters before the fingerspelling really helped me to see the word. I liked that!

Flashing the word beforehand helped me to see the letters all together as one word, instead of trying to put all the individual letters together to make the word, like when you were talking about sounding out or seeing the shape of the word. I know that's how I read. I think it's great because that is how we would "read" the word when signing with someone, seeing the whole word rather than each individual letter. Thanks!!

I felt like the letters made me already know the word so I wasn't trying as hard to see what you were spelling. I think it would be better to flash the word after you finger spelled it so we could "check" if we got it right.

I agree with many others about preferring the word to come after seeing you sign them. It makes me focus more and 'rewards' me if I got it right. If not, I just rewind to see where I messed up.
Great videos, either way!

I really enjoyed this format!! The letters popping up as well as how you slowed the middle spelling. I find these really helpful but this format worked for me the most I found. Thanks for switching it up!

I liked having the letters first. Helped me with staying focused on how you sign it out. I definitely need practice with my receptive skills, especially when signing fast.

This helped me a ton! I really think you should add it in to your videos for fingerspelling. I only missed one which is an improvement of usually getting 3 or 4. Other than that it helps me personally & hopefully helps other people.

This is my VERY first video of yours! Only thing I really know in ASL is MOST (not all) of the alphabet) so I am excited to see what I pick up! There are some deaf/HOH people at my church I'd like to be better at communicating with. Also would be a cool asset to add to my channel in a few years once I get good enough since my channel is about empowering those with disabilities. I agree with those that said put the word at the end of the finger spelling and I also think something was cutting off the first letter in some of the words b/c even pausing it I had no idea what 1 or 2 of the words were that were flashing up lol. Nevertheless, I am SO excited!!!!

I like the letter first and fast. They mimic the pace of finger-spelling. I also had trouble seeing the first letter. It looked like it was not there, as in covered by the end of the letter tape.

loves it. I got through it on the first try.

Well it was the first video I didn't have to replay a million times. Or at all. I got all the words the first time through.

I don't care for it because I felt Like I needed to see it first to really get the word but I love when you slow it down because I'm not that good yet 8 Out of 10 not to bad for me... Thank you for your Teachings I really do appreciate you, you have helped me so much... Thank you and have a wonderful day...

It was easier to get the finger spelled words after seeing the letters flash, but I also felt like I was cheating! lol this is the only video so far I didn't have to slow down in order to get at least one of the words. I guess you tell me if that means it's working!

The written letters are flashed on the screen so fast, I couldn't read it. It would be more helpful if you put up the written letters AFTER you finger spell it. It helps more in receptive skills to see if we got the word right. Thanks so much for doing these videos. You ... are ... the ... bomb!

I agree the Letters should come the end. The letters were distracting and also you had already began signing when the screen flipped from the flashing words to your finger spelling, so often the first letter was missed. Otherwise it was great practice

For me, the letters actually blocked the first letter of fingerspelling on some of the words.

I would prefer if you would wait until after you finger spelled the word so that I am more challenged to focus on my receptive ASL finger spelling instead of English receptive spelling.

The letters are like a cheat and they actually make me miss the first signed letter.
