How To Make A Wooden Rope Puzzle

I made a run of these two ring puzzles about three years ago, and they were quite popular as gifts. The joy is, once you know the secret, you want to watch others labor over it. Turns out we're all sickos....

Cool; I like the shape you went with. The swivel collars are pretty cool as well. I like this puzzle because of how easy it is to make, yet how deceptively simple to solve. It first, the puzzle may even seem impossible. Even knowing the secret, it can be tricky to wrap your head around what is happening when it's being solved. At least, when I made mine, it took ME a while to fully understand HOW the solution achieves what it does. It's deviously simple! And thanks for linking to my video. This is great! I scaled it down and made a simpler design (similar to the video you have linked in your description) with about a 7x2x1cm piece of wood, 1cm wood beads and some thick string, this is gonna be a fun little gadget to give my family for christmas :)

So I have binge watched your videos for a while now and I have to say, I am not much of a woodworking person I've done a few carvings and I've made a box but that's about it. There arrent that many channels that make videos with a purpose or show something actually educational with great commentary.
