So this is a walkthrough of my art portfolio that got me accepted into Capilano University! There's definitely a certain amount of pressure in putting together something as proper and official as an art portfolio. That being said, I can at the very least confidently say that after enough procrastination, trial and error, and practice, I ended up learning far more about art by making this portfolio than I did in my high school art class. Hope you enjoy and or find this helpful somehow if you're making an art/animation portfolio yourself. :)

I'm sorry but I'm so afraid. I'm going to a technical school this year and actually start learning the basics of animation, but I barley know how to draw. I try to practice but I'm just so awful at it. I really don't know what to do, but being an animator is my dream job ever since I was like 10. I still remember "animating" in Kinemaster with cringey vector models. I just really don't want to be a waste, I want to learn and thrive in the animation industry, but I'm just so lazy.
