i adored this record growing up, 15 years old, the palace in rhyl, i tried for years to buy it but couldnt for years .... then i found it and bought it and its still one of my prized possessions in my small but treasured record collection .

Should have been a bigger hit than it was (it got to #52 nationally). This was the classic Carl Davis/William Sanders Chicago soul sound of the late '60's. Tyrone Davis, the Chi-Lites and Jackie Wilson all had hits from this period. The b-side "Anywhere But Nowhere" is also prime Chi-soul.
