I always felt deep in my heart that I needed to almost "structure unschool" or just focus on the 3 R's and Science because boy loves Science. So hard to give up the rest though, but now we are really going to focus on reading and as a family: a HUGE emphasis on healthy eating, it is now a must for my husband's health. Thank you for this. My first thought when you mentioned a yearly goal for the whole family was "I hope we have a better year than last year". But I know that is not necessarily a great goal to strive for (though I truly do hope next year is better). As I think about it, I believe my main goal for a whole family is to be in the Bible more and let the word of God saturate everything we are learning.

Our short term goal is just to survive the first half of the new school year with a new baby. Lol kind of kidding, but baby is due the week before we were going to start the new school year. I think we have a couple goals as a family(unity a big one and field trips, having more fun together) and I know I have a few goals per kid. My goal is to make sure I stick to my routine and staying constant with it. Also patience, patience, patience is a huge goal for me.
