I would love to comment on why the first Hindi language Bhool Bhulaiyaa, but that would take the entire day. despite its technical flaws and editing choices resonated and loved by people. Not only were the horror elements on top, there were constant conflicts between traditional beliefs and scientific approach to mental illness. In the end, both had to work together beautifully together to cure the victim in the climax. The gags were hilarious and still stand up to this day. The subtle hints of Vidya's character's mental illness that you see on multiple viewings. It was a great, self-contained story.

I live in Europe and have shown movies like Bhool Bhulaiya to my non-Indian friends and they loved it, confessing how their perspective of Bollywood movies is shifted.

But naah, just like western world has to ruin existing good stories and films by transforming them into art for "modern audiences", our filmmakers somehow do everything in their power to not grow up and reflect what makes a great horror comedy.

I hope this trailer is misleading on over the top acting of Madhuri and Vidya, and gives a proper justification to their character's existence in Bhool Bhulaiyaa's universe. Although, going by T-series records, I don't have high hopes from them.

And whats up with the fucking romantic song filmed in Leh. It would bring the story to a halt. Hatt.
