How could you being a tech journalist forgot that now Motorola is owned by Lenovo. Also, they acquired "ThinkPad" IP & consumer computers division while IBM transformed into B2B & corporate solutions.
The ThinkPhone isn't a collab, it's more like Lenovo trying to fit in Blackberry's shoe.

Business phones should have stylus and memory card reading capabilities . But tbh all phones are pretty much the same now . Everything can be done with apps . So it would've been cooler if they had better software that are specifically targeted towards businessmen( I don't know what kind of software that could be either lol)

Now I wished Blackberry was around. They would've made an interesting business phone. Still, this seems interesting tho probably not too different from a Motorola phone. I'll wait for reviews on this bad boy

most people don't know Motorola is a Lenovo company (Lenovo bought Motorola years ago from Google) therefore Motorola=Lenovo (same company)

Honestly it just sounds like this is just a branding thing, you can tell by the size of the 'Think' logo on the back. It's fundamentally not much different from having the Hasselblad branding on a oneplus device.

I don't see how this has anything special for business users that you can't already get from any other phone. At least the old blackberry business devices had physical keyboards. This thing? It doesn't even have expandable storage or a headphone jack.

Should have leaned way harder into it being a portable desktop with Ready For. Could have rolled out a Thinkpad X1 Nano-style lapdock to use with it.

In the current Android and iOS generation no need of any Business phone as it does not offer anything new... Everything mentioned in business phone is already available in normal Android phones.

Currently just upgraded to Moto Stylus 5G but may swap one out for the ThinkPhone if it pairs up seemlessly with the Yoga Tab and 3i

Just ordered $324 from Motorola for that price this phone is a steal. Great performance, amazing battery life, nice screen, and hopefully a few years of updates!

I am using my 4th Thinkpad and I daily have 2 Motorola G9 Plus on me. I like the ThinkPhone, the only thing I see as a con is that it has no headphone jack.
