Iran shows off missile city packed with ballistic weapons

Iran has unveiled another “missile city” in a video showing an underground complex purported to house thousands of ballistic missiles.
The video was released on Tuesday by the semi-official Tasnim news agency, which identified the site as “one of the hundreds of missile cities” operated by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
The video showed Major General Mohammad Bagheri, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, and Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, commander of the IRGC Aerospace Forces, standing in the back of a military off-road vehicle as it drove past racks of missiles lining a tunnel, and truck-mounted launchers.
Iran has released several such videos in recent months in an apparent response to US and Israeli threats to target the country’s nuclear facilities. Donald Trump has sent a letter to Iran urging it to negotiate a nuclear deal or face possible action.
