I have a ton of my bibles.. I like to choose my “go to bible” for the year, and use it for prayers and studying and I make “memory notes” for blessings and answered prayers or things I’m struggling with. I have done this for about 4 years now and it’s amazing to see how I started off and where I’m at now with my faith.

thank you for covering the adventure bible. i've been away from the word for awhile now. i've tried picking up various bibles but it's been difficult. a few weeks ago, i had a dream about the adventure bible. it's not one that had even been on my radar other than hearing about it here and there. i ordered it and am so excited for it to come in soon! i think it can be useful for what it is and help those (like me) who have been away for awhile to get back into it.

I agree with all you said about Bible versions. An unused Bible is a waste, such as KJV if the reading is too hard for some folks, so they just let it gather dust on the shelf. I see a lot of Christians that go to NIV, ESV, etc. because they are easier to understand. After a few years they generally begin to trust the KJV and NKJV more and use them. I prefer any that are Majority Text, yet I do have some of those you were showing here. Yes, the notes are great! They get me to thinking! Pink is also my favorite! Next is purple. lol. I have a copy of the Adventure Bible too, but never thought of using it for myself. I was going to give it as a gift. Well, if my brain doesn't work one day as swiftly as before, maybe I will try it. lol. A new version I really am enthusiastically reading is the NRSVue which hasn't been out long. Love, in Christ. . . 😇

Between my Bibles, my hubby's Bibles, and the Bibles we inherited from his grandmother, we probably have at least 30.
We love to study the Word of God! ♥️📖♥️

I have a good stack of bibles too except all mine are NIV most of my bibles I got from my grandpa he's 92 yrs old so when it's his time to go I'll have them❤

I love that you have a Children’s bible. I got my son a KJV kids Bible and it has such good notes I made copies of all the beginning pages of the books breakdown and tipped them in my KNJV interleaved. I love telling new believers to get a children’s Bible because it’s a great sideline to have. When my kids and I do our catechisms and study we all use a different version so we can read more than one version of the verses. It’s been so great! I also love the NCV they don’t make it anymore I think the NIRV replaced it maybe? But it was my first adult bible and I had it for a good ten years before I moved to an ESV and NKJV. I really want to get an NLT illustrated study Bible and NASB to add to my collection!

Love your Bible collection. Thank You for sharing these. A few I don't have and I am interested in. Hugs. Be Blessed. Also loved Dr. Stanley and am trying to save up to get his Bible as well in hardback. We also recently moved into low income housing to make ends meet as I am a single, disabled mom with one still home. We struggle but make ends meet so it may take a few months to save up even longer as our transmission in our very used minivan is going out.

Great video. I love your collection! I’m also a big fan of the Spirit-Filled Life Bible, which I have in NLT.

Since you are a fan of study Bibles with tons of notes, you should try to hunt down a copy of “The Learning Bible”, published in both NIV and CEV translations. It’s a chunker, but it’s a fun one to go through!
