Love when they have cameras set up to show both the speaker and the presentation. But then they just zoom in on the speaker instead of showing the presentation. Good data I can't see . Makes me really trust it.

The snake that eats his own tail. At each level it's just a matter of time. Technology definitely speeds up the process. Let's see how far each level will survive. Good luck

Brokers are the true people who move freight!

IF a shipper uses broker to eliminate the hassle; and payroll; why will shippers not build or purchase their own digitized brokerages? Why would they not eliminate the middle? I think Convoy, etc would be smart to offer SAP level of digitized, in-house, brokerage for shippers / customers. I don't suspect that Convoy, JBH, etc are lessening the standard "take" that brokers get; somewhere around 18%. I see shippers wanting their own, in house, digitized freight matching; where most of that 18% will be saved.

Freight brokerage will be more digital; yes; but this should not be too disruptive. Brokers such as TQL, JBH, etc pay agents to do the human work. Don't these agents make around $18/hr? As a carrier; I'd say that any agent I work with to get a load spends, at most, 10 minutes of human time. So; that is 1/6 of an hour; or 1/6 of $18; = $3. So, if digitizing brokerage saves a mere $3 per load; that is totally insignificant. When trucks are driverless; this will remove a huge cost. But removing human broker agents will not save much. I call bluff on anyone that says digital brokers will disrupt. Nope.

What it should be called is...Digital brokerage= We can do less work and make more money, while drivers can give their all and get nothing. Thats why they're "Penny smart" its what they give them to work with. They want an electromagnetic sensored highway and hybrid trucks without drivers. Watch

Oxford came out with a study in automation in 2013 and brokers were on it. It had a 98% probability of automation in the next 10 years or so

They think they are doing favors for their customers they don't understand. their customers will lose their customers. Because we people our going to lose our income. So ask yourself. How is it gonna work? It only works for robots not for human

I'm waiting for transportation blockchain to roll out which will remove the middle man altogether. No need for brokers any longer with technology. These brokers will have to start to invest in trucks and learn to hire and keep drivers to earn a living in this space.

Future if freight brokerage will be determined on the wits of the carriers. World can live without brokers but, they cannot live without carriers. So, smart customers work directly with carriers and eliminating brokers, period.

I love creativity, But think before you create. It's not gonna work. If the computer will do all the job. Business will lose customers. Customers have no money to spend or pay . Business will turn bankrupt. People will turn poor. If robots will do the job.thats the reality.

Con men that have never worked a real day in their life. Manipulation of freight value for their personal gain. Destroying th he trucking industry and slaving the drivers.

Hello... I'm very interested in becoming a freight broker and I'm not certain 100% of what the digital freight brokerage system means for any new and upcoming and traditional brokers... Will that System replace the traditional freight brokers

You guys are not that smart because instead of creating job to allow people to work. You're just creating more laziness.
