Any faster than this on any new phone at this point is redundant. Geekbench, Antutu, etc seem almost irrelevant to me now if the phones core functions (what you spend 99% of your time doing according to the most used apps meter) are opening this quickly and smoothly. We're hitting the point of diminishing returns at record high prices. Thats not going to going to work nowadays with corporations raising prices to maximize their free cash flow.
Also, interesting to see that I wasn't the only who noticed how much faster download speeds are with Samsung vs iPhone. I thought I was imagining that. This is much more noticeable when you have several devices on the same 1 GB down network.

I decided to give Samsung a try this year and move over to the Z Fold 6 from my iPhone.
I'm really interested in the Dex mode when you hook it up to a monitor, a one device to do it all kinda sounds interesting.

Surely having the fold open for testing means it pulls a bigger res for apps and games vs the front screen - slowing the device in a 1 v 1?

And that's just the out-of-the-box speed of the Z Fold 6. As most Samsung phone buyers have known for years, the speed can be drastically increased by going into the settings and enabling 'developer options' to either speed up or turn off the animations altogether.

I would re-test them in about a week, since the z fold is new, the software has to break in. The folds seem to perform better after about a week.
