Great video, was looking to do something similar. Just a thought, Have you seen those 10A European chassis plugs from Maplins? It would cut down the size and depth of project box you would need to use.

Excellent video, nice to see a unit made using UK 3 pin sockets😀 just a quick question, I plan on using the heat side to power a 60w tube heater in my fermentation fridge, what heater are you using? I am wondering whether it may be better to use a SSR to protect the STC 1000? Cheers

Feeling a little stupid, Found your video on the STC 1000. Got all the parts from your list. Put everything together, wired up but notice the headings on the STC were different. It was only then I realised I have a STC 2000.

From left to right it reads: Alarm / Loading / AC Power / Senor

Can you help or should I get a STC 1000

Hi can you help please. I did wire the cts 1000 for heating and I don't know why but when it reach the temperature I setup it will turn off and cooling red icon will come on. I never had this before it was working normal but I did a new project with the same unit and it started to do. any suggestions please what is wrong? I don't use colling at all jist heating the chamber.
