Omg. I bet you guys left before the sun got over the horizon. Every second spent exposed in its kill zone is a gamble. At least early morning hours you wont have the sun hitting it, nor will you be able to see it all that well in the dark..which can be both good and or really bad in the event a chunk falls off and slides right over you 😂
