Whilst at the car boot sale the other week I came across a guy selling any three items for £1 so I had a look round the stall. In one box I found this Draper TK202 trimming knife.

I tried to research the knife online but drew a blank so I reached out to Draper tools on Instagram and they were very helpful sending me a page from their 1982/83 catalogue with the knife.

I like the ergonomics of this utility knife, it is very comfortable to use. It might look a little odd but it is great to hold.

Look at how nicely they were molded on the inside. A very fine casting that was. If you look at the inside of a modern Stanley thats probably made in China, its unseen interior will have all kinds of imperfections and flashing and pits etc, but the Draper was flawless inside. A testament to the skilled hands of its English made heritage.

Its a nice, ergonomic designed handle!

'Made in England' So rare to see that this these days, or even made in Britain or made in UK.

That car wax must be old, it's got a red Mk1 Focus on it, just like the car that I drive, lol.

Is there no way to withdraw the blade without unscrewing the handle?
