.NET Standard Revisited

There has been a lot of talk lately about .NET Standard, both in the community and on Channel 9. But there is also still confusion about it. In this episode, Kathleen Dollard clears up some of this confusion. She and Robert chat about why .NET Standard was created, as well as how and when you should take advantage of it.

I think people are overthinking .NET Standard. If you're familiar with OOP, .NET Standard is essentially an interface that Full Framework, Core, Xamarin, Mono (and I think Unity) is implementing.

OMG! This did nothing but add to the confusion! Rather than bantering back and forth and going off on tangents, consider having a well thought out presentation before attempting to make a video and ask the man to hold his questions until you have reached a good break point. His interrupting and distracting from the script derailed the entire presentation. Your goal should have been to teach the audience, not the confused and distracting man. Perhaps a do-over.... alone.
