Larry Bird’s NBA achievements are legendary. He is a 3x NBA champion 3x League MVP and a clutch shot maker. But on March 3 1985 Kevin Mchale scored 56 points and broke the franchise record for most points in a game. But that was Larry’s record. So 9 days later Larry reclaimed his title with a performance that stunned the crowd. Dominique Wilkins and Doc Rivers remember that night all too well.
